Section 179
<br> that the parties must produce witnesses
The parties to the case shall present the witnesses mentioned as evidence on the date fixed by the court for witness examination.
(2) A witness who is not present on the date specified in accordance with sub-section (1) cannot be examined.
(3) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1) or (2), on the day fixed for the attendance of the witness, the witness could not be attended in the court under clause (c) or (e) of section 225 on the date fixed, so that another date may be fixed. If the application is submitted within seven days from the date of opening of the road, including the recommendation of the local level or any government agency, the court will set another date for witness examination within seven days of the submission of the application.
